Discrimination(s) Grid & DEI Compass
A Service & System Design perspective on how we consume — and stop consuming — structural discrimination
Turning an enormous, charged body of research into something you can actually navigate — a service blueprint, an information system, and a working prototype.

"I'm no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I'm changing the things I cannot accept."
Problem
Structural discrimination is vast, abstract, and emotionally charged. The challenge was to make a dense body of research legible and usable for NPOs, NGOs, and the public — without flattening its complexity into a slogan.
Approach
An extensive literature review fed an Innovation-of-Meaning design-thinking process. I translated the findings into a service-design blueprint for the non-profit sector, an information architecture, a UI, and a working website prototype — using a "grid" and a "compass" as navigational metaphors so a non-expert could explore the system rather than just read about it.
Outcome
An interactive prototype that turns systemic research into something you can move through and understand — the same "fragmented data → connected insight" translation work that commercial product marketing demands, applied to one of the hardest possible subjects.
